My life is falling apart. I really need some comfy movies to get away from reality.
Please suggest your favorites.
Peace.

>Chungking Express
At first you may not understand WTF is happening, but it's the aesthetics that matter

Jesus is more of a character than a prophet in that movie. It would be like if you didn't want to watch Book of Mormon just because it had a religious aspect to it.

Nah He's a prophet, a teacher, the Son of God, Healer, Redeemer, Savior, etc. The movie is pretty faithful to the actual book of John. Don't minimize the Word to make it more palatable to wordly people. If he isn't interested he isn't interested but He asked for comfy movies and nothing comforts me like God. If he's not into it that's okay.
Drive (2011)
Just watch any disney movie. All are comfy.
Maybe watch trolls.

I respect that anon. I'm sorry I reacted like that to your recommendation, I just had a lot of bad experiences with religion in general, so I am very uncomfortable watching anything religion or spirituality oriented.
I can't even meditate properly because every time I try I picture my fat fuck of a retard father who was meditating every morning while drinking coffee, shouting at everyone who dared to made any kid of noise in his holy moment of waking up (at 2 PM btw).

>Harold and Maude (1971)
Depressed 20-year-old whose life is controlled by his mother is reinvigorated after meeting a lively old woman at a funeral. Original soundtrack by Cat Stevens.
>Stand By Me (1986)
Young boys adventure on foot together. Based on a Stephen King story. The young man in Harold and Maude reminds me of Adam Lanza. It is a good movie though.
