I noticed that most MBTI test introversion by asking questions like "are you shy?" whereas this test seemed to test for actual inward vs outward focus as opposed to social ability, which would point to it being more valid from a cognitive function perspective. But it still could be skewed towards extroversion all the same, so who knows.

Same as other tests, INFP, but I'm pretty extroverted sometimes.

My best friend is an ENTP girl, which is also pretty rare. She's a cute stacey and I love her to bits while also hating her at times. Pretty sure she feels the same way about me.

It's probably the weirdest friendship dynamic I've ever encountered. When we get physical with each other, though, there seems to be a really deep connection compared to when we just talk.

It's like we try to understand each other's ideas and ways of thinking, and she gets frustrated while I try to compromise. But when we're joking around talking about silly ideas or things it's really fun. And when I touch her, it's like something inside her that she usually tries to tame begins to stir.

Now I'll explain what the fuzz about.
16personalities determines your MBTI type mostly by BEHAVIOR TRAITS, which look similar to EXAMPLE of those types.
Keirsey determines your 4-letters-of-horoscope by calculating COGNITIVE FUNCTIONS instead of behavior, so its more MBTI(only)-valid then 16memes.
And the final note - there is no better test from those two, they just utilize different approach. Just look at description, compare your experience and decide, who you are.

Most INFPs are generic nice guys. I usually get annoyed by other INFP guys (I know 2) because I used to be like them. Just, too passive and afraid of stepping on toes.

Alcohol really helped me open up. I went too far a lot of times before I learnt to control it and use it to my advantage. Most people don't feel as much as us, so you can push the envelope more than feels comfortable for you.

Oh don't get me wrong, I suffer from crippling loneliness, as well as anxiety and depression.
But that counts towards all kinds of companionship, not just physical.
Plus it's not even so much a shyness or personality thing that stops me from getting together with women, I just don't see anything to be gained from meaningless sex.

Nope, I have several hobbies, I go out with friends regularly, have my own place.
As for women, two serious exes and around six or seven casual relationships, couple of hookups in the downtime.

I think the problem with these tests are that the cognitive functions you use vary based on the context of the situation. They ask in general terms but you can't imagine in general terms, it needs to be specific scenarios. They're also making you choose between things which are not mutually exclusive.

I'm an ENTP and I agree with this message. INTPs sound heavily like me, except my problem isn't so much being shy, but the fact that I come on so strong and will say the most random things. That is of course if I feel comfortable, otherwise I get overwhelmed by people being around me and start to break down mentally. I've been trying to improve my personality forever. Taking courses, forcing myself to debate and give talks, going for humanities because I knew I'd become a school shooter tier faggot if I took STEM, etc. Reading about MBTI finally helped me realize I'm not supposed to talk to people in the first place. Nobody knows really, but there are definite differences between thinking styles and what a person prefers to think about. "Modern" MBTI is a mess though, it's not even based on the functions any more but on vague behavior patterns and other shit added/changed from the original definition
Carl Jung mainly focused on the differences between introverts and extroverts and described the types only using what we now call the dominant function, the "4 functions model" and the 4 letters are just later additions by different people. Those are likely not accurate.
Kiersey was the one who made up the retarded stereotypes and type names like "mastermind" and only typed based on external behavior, NOT using the functions.
So yeah, don't fall for the memes or type descriptions, especially the ones which only highlight the supposedly strengths of a type
