No i didn't. I drew from observation. Additionally, my lines are vastly different than the original, and I changed the proportions of the figure and the compostition to give the piece a wholly different feel.

I was doing this shit in highschool and had people buy my paintings, but once I realized I lacked any talent to produce my own original pieces without stepstooling off someone else's I quit.

If reimagining other people's work is what makes you happy and you enjoy it then keep doing it. You definitely have talent there. I would be careful though as I don't know if this is entirely legal to do if you're making money off if.
