Story time. Literally just happened:
>Me: patient attendant working at a hospital.
>Go to grab a patient from CT/MRI holding and look at his chart and take him to his room.
>Older guy, in his late 40's it least, but probably in his 50s.
>Greying around the edges, obese, thinning hair but still kept in a pony tail.
>He has two suction systems and catheter and is an in-patient in a med surg unit.
>He's pretty happy and outgoing still.
>After a few minutes of conversation, he makes mention of "the situation" in Europe.
>I nod and agree with him.
>He launches into a /pol/-tier rant about shitskins.
>Get back to his room, and assist him getting into bed.
>He can barely stand up his in current condition.
>Feel overwhelmed.
>Says /pol/ and /b/ were his second home.
>I'm practically taken aback by how old he is while casually bringing up 4-chan in conversation.
>Tell him I also go on 4-chan.
>He lights up and starts talking about all these old /b/ raids he was in.
>His enthusiasm is making me uncomfortable, self-aware, interested, and sad all at this point, I just want to get away but I keep nodding and politely listening to his stories.
>Finally wrench myself away, and he's tells me I can drop in any time.
>This guy is 10/10 alone, but a genuinely nice guy.
>Simultaneously feel relieved and guilty when a give a sheepish "it's possible" before basically running out of his room.
I hope you get out of that unit, anon.

Did you mean to start a new thread?
>>37682913
No. I just thought it was entertaining, but I will do thst right now.
>>37682859
Converstation with other people from 4chan especially about 4chan is always weird. talking about 4chan doesn't work IRL.
>>37682959
I have a friend who always brings up 4chan at random moments, although it's clear he got all of his knowledge of the site from reddit. Always comes across as really cringey
>>37682974
I have a friend who keeps posting /pol/-tier Trump image macros in a group chat were both in. I suspect he gets them from the_donald
