My interpretation is that he was depressed, autistic, very narcissistic, but not schizophrenic. He knew his channel wasn't going anywhere and he was losing the will to keep working on it. He also became suicidal because of an injury and that his family put more pressure on him. Saw a way to solve both problems by documenting his life and Columbining his workplace. He convinced himself that's what his waifu wanted, both to calm his conscience and to promote the channel. I doubt the coin flip mattered because he would just have done it again until he got it right.
