I had this custom built during a run legator were doing back in 2013. I ordered it as a present for myself for graduating uni.

I live in Aus. Legator, are not in Aus. I ordered it when the aud was 1:1 to usd. this was not the case when it was finished in Jan of 2014. I was very angry for a long time at how much it cost me, and how I ended up playing it pretty much like a 6 string for a longtime.

It's light as hell, and I'm falling in love with it more as time goes on.

It's a seven string, so really, take a guess what I play.

I picked this up back in 2012, while attending a comic con at the other end of the country.

I didn't mean to buy a new guitar, that's for sure, but after walking into a music shop to just kill time, sitting and playing with it, I couldn't stop thinking about it.

I actually purchased it when I went back home. I called the store, arranged for it to be shipped up to the other end of the country where I live, and soon it arrived.

It is by far, the single greatest guitar I have ever played. The action is perfect; I've only had to reset it up a very minor handful of times for a guitar that is now half a decade.

Fuck what companies think, Japan built is best. This shits on many USA built guitars of similar price points.

This is a Jackson floyd rose to go with my seven string. Do we really need hints to what I play?

Can anyone help me find a good first electric guitar? I can play a little bit on an acoustic but it's a really crappy guitar so I need to upgrade. I know almost nothing about electric guitars so excuse my ignorance

My favorite sound is that funky 60's acid rock so I'd like a guitar that can produce that kind of sound. Obviously this is less important but I'd prefer the head have all the turning bars (?) on one side. Don't really know anything else.

Pic related. I listen to mostly metal but what I mostly want tonally out of a guitar is a good mix between metal and hard rock. A kind of lead tone that'll get me to sound like Dethklok, Mastodon, Queens of the Stone Age, and even Acid Bath if I want to.

The pick ups in my Snow Falcon aren't really fit for those nice heavy riffs that you get from Mastodon or Acid Bath. But the lead tones I get from it are nice, big, and warm.

I might get the ESP BK600 once I save up the money for it.

What do you mean? You have to practice every day, work speed with going up and down scales and then find out what goes together up and down the frets and along the entire scale of the neck. You'll also learn a lot if you put on a song, some cool riff you like, and then explore the neck by replicating it by finding the exact notes.

It is all hard work and becoming better is part of the fun. If it isn't, you will never become good.
