>Add someone on discord
>They are cool for the first night of talking
>Slowly talks less and less
>Rinse and repeat all the time
Why does this happen r9k? Am I destined to be a loser even online?

I think robots don't want to actually improve their status in life.
Failure and solitude is all they know and its comforting
your mistake is adding a random person you probably don't have anything in common with
you could keep trying until you find someone you connect with, or you could do the smart thing and add people you meet through a common interest, like a game and such

Then why are they adding me on discord
Maybe they don't find the constant contact with you all that appealing and it bores them. Something in the same vein as you: I've started to be turned off with always having Discord open, which leads to less spamming and things feeling more in my court sort to speak when I do talk with my contacts (and now they initiate the convos more often).
