I don't think it's possible because we don't have any other superheroes. You'd basically be seen the way he is in DD Season 2 at the beginning. Without heroes that don't kill there's no buffer to get people used to vigilantes. If I didn't live in suburbia I'd consider vigilantism but nothing happens here except package thefts sometimes. A RL Punisher would be taken down by feds pretty fast.

But i mean, do you think i could hide from the public, do my job as a vigilante, kill those who need to be killed, and have a normal life without anyone suspecting?

Yeah, but you need to do it at night and at a busy metro area where you can blend in.

No. In order to do that, you'd have to kill a lot of people. Often. We're talking more people more often than a soldier in an active combat zone. Law enforcement would be up your ass so quickly you wouldn't have a chance to bite the pillow.
