That's because steam probably channels it's information through the client which causes an obfuscated sound.

99% of the time if it sounds like shit, it's because you're using wifi or have cable/dsl or have a shitty connection of some other nature. Either way, steam voice chat works perfectly fine and I use it with my close friend on a regular basis. I never had as many issues as I did with normalfuck DISCOG which literally tries to co-join two entirely different protocol systems and in turn causes frequent crashing. Such a stupid fucking idea, whoever came up with it.

All this cause Ventrilo wouldn't update and Skype got bought out and turned into a botnet.

Also, another protip:
All UDP systems are traceable because the data travels unprotected upstream.

I went to dinner with my sister and 4 of her friends. They can't drive yet, so I was kind of their choffeur.
We went to some grill place and chatted, and ate, and laughed and shared stories.
I took them around and dropped each of her friends off at their homes
That's all well and good, but it just reminded me of how alone I am. I'm friendless, and gfles. and those kids were already sharing stories at 13 of past boyfriends and other things that adults are supposed to do, like partying or drinking. It made me feel good that they trusted me enough to laugh about it, and my sister told me that all her friends think I'm awesome

BUT---

It Just reminds me of all these things normals experience that i don't, I always wanted a moonlit first kiss, but mine was in a college party from some drunk chick.
I always wanted a girlfriend in middle school, and high school, but I didn't start dating until my 2nd year of uni.

On top of the loneliness that this brings up and the bitterness towards my sisters friends and their future chad husbands, I also feel insecure because I feel like they only invited me to come in and eat with them because they felt bad. They probably giggle about me over SMS and call me a loser.

I agree that retail makes you understand more about the average person, but I wouldn't say they're all assholes. Most likely, people don't realize they're being obnoxious cunts when they screw up an order by talking on their phone. You can think all you want, but I actually know a lot about this topic. I studied it extensively. There is no magic system that transmits your UDP data stream faster except for, guess what, better internet.

ALL VOIP systems are stripped of their protective frames so that the data can stream as soon as possible (causing seamless conversation to occur).

If you hear stuttering, 90% chance they're using wi-fi. If you hear it speed up randomly, that's because the data has to catch up to itself.

UDP, in general, is what every VOIP protocol uses. There's no exceptions. Discord is a clunky system that tries to tie in a TCP/IM client with VOIP and that actually causes it to crash because the data stream gets mangled into one another. Ever been in discord and have it crash on you to where you can hear nobody talking? That's what did it. There's absolutely NOTHING that makes Discord better than any other VOIP client which uses the exact same processes to transmit data.

You can think in one hand and know in the other. See which one figures out the truth first.
