I have ADHD, I'm pretty sure that I'm borderline retarded, as in really fucking stupid. I've been given a lot of opportunities and had no idea how to utilize them, or just squandered them needlessly. I've done a lot of stupid shit (like snorting sherbert, drinking bongwater, nearly writing off several cars), I never have the faintest idea of the plot in a movie or book, and have to ask what I'm supposed to do whenever someone's trying to tutor me or teach me something. Because I'm under the impression that people who say that believe these people enjoy not having specific goals, or resolves to pursue relentlessly 16 hours a day. That's completely the opposite though, atleast in my case since I can't speak for everyone. But I would say every living being strives for a purpose within their own little narrative. To be without one renders man depressed and without a path to follow. and is therefore deemed lazy despite putting effort in to find a purpose or goal, but falling flat.

What I'm trying to get at here is a lot of the time laziness is a misunderstood concept and it correlates to a more complex phenomena based on a shitload more factors in the realms of philosphy and history. Rather than just wanting to sleep or lie down all the time.
