Look at it like this. You're probably a 5-6/10 on the attractive scale. Now then, that doesn't mean you can get 5's and 6's on a regular basis. If you get lucky you might get someone in the same league as you, and maybe one step higher but they usually have a plethora of mental issues that make it dangerous.

They're going after 7-10/10 guys because the guys, because guys will fuck a woman as long as she isn't literally the she devil(usually, but outliers do exist). Women, on the other hand, set their standards higher and higher depending on past experience with other top tier men who've spelt with them, or expectations that are ingrained in women's heads due to a plethora of causes(feminism, entitlement, daddy's princess syndrome, etc.).
