yes because these catholics try to enforce a purity doctrine that actually makes the 'sinfulness' of sex even more intoxicating than usual
very few can make it through this stage of nega-religious hedonism, instead lapsing into immobile sin/absolution cycle, because it almost requires total debasement to achieve full self-nullification
if it occurs one may discover a kind of spiritual freedom opening outwards from the singularity something like an hourglass where the last bit of sand was you at the funnel - so that when you upend it again you will begin the path to absolution (which was ultimately from where all your particulate began)
this is the way to christian enlightenment but few ever achieve it
