That sinking feeling is just so deeply-ingrained that I can't shake it whenever I feel like I've been outed.

Fuck, the other day, I found a pot container from like a year ago just lying out in the open amidst a bunch of my other shit from the last time I was here, and that feeling hit HARD. No mention of it, though.

Realistically, I think everyone's cool with playing the "pretend anon doesn't get high" game as long as I don't fuck my life up and I'm discrete. I mean, there's no way they haven't at least caught a whiff, and I'm pretty sure even the children have caught on. Hell, I look like a total stoner, anyway.

Not all druggies are degenerate. It's understandable to be biased against it. Altered states of mind can be very beneficial in appropriate cultural ritual context. Problem is our culture has forgotten all about that type of stuff, as a result most do drugs the wrong way. I blame christianity
