So it seems the ranges are as follows:
Less than 5'6" designated bottom
5'6" - 5'9" mixed but expect bottom
5'9" - 6'2" mixed but expect top
Greater than 6'2" designated top.

A lot has to deal with weight and build. Skinny no muscle is twink/trap bottom. Skinny toned is mixed/twink. Skinny ripped is mixed/top. Heavy no muscle is only seen with new traps and desperate men. Heavy ripped are bears, gay for one another or smaller people.

If you're 5'8 you get some leeway. Chubby only really works with bears. If you want to be top go to fit and bulk. Bottom, then just starve until you're like 10-20 under and shave yourself smooth.
