I did the exact same thing. I used to wear my belt backwards so the studs would face forwards. I also had fingerless gloves, chequered vans... all that shit.

A long poncho my grandfather left me with a similar color scheme to this one. I usually wear it with skinny black jeans and chelsea boots on days the weather makes it appropriate.

Two hipster scarves, a pair of stretch jeans that are really tight but I do not feel uncomfortable in, a black assassin's creed syndicate shirt that I don't completely fit in so I might discard it soon and two trench coat like pieces of clothing. I wore a fedora/trilby when I was around 11.
I currently wear cargo shorts. Mind you I always wear cargo shorts and a t-shirt. Sometimes during winter I wear a jacket (Doesnt snow where I am).

The thing about fedoras and leather trenchcoats looking stupid is because the people that wear them are just wearing them because of their emotional insecurities (I'm emanating some kind of masculine figure of yesteryear). If you actually like wearing a leather trenchcoat and it speaks to you and you can pull it off that's great.

There's nothing sexier than being thrown into the slaughterhouse of life where people want to take advantage of you and prod you with a hot poker and coming out the other end knowing who you are and what you like.

I played soccer when I was very young. Then I somehow kept the habit of wearing knee-high socks. I got bullied constantly for wearing knee-high socks from like 4th grade to 8th grade. Eventually I stopped wearing them, but still, why the heck would everyone care if some rando autist kid wore socks up to his knees? The one consolation is that most of the people who bullied me about it are probably dead or on welfare now.
