As someone who is much further down the road than you, let me tell you what happened to me.
In my teenage years I started jerking off to bikini models and bra models in catalogs. Then I progressed to the internet and (at the time) 30 second porn clips, and years later full-length porn.
Eventually, all the porn and hentai and fetishes were no longer enough, so I turned to paying real women for sex.
