I doubt they'll reach saturation as people are not yet able to choose their children's appearance, blonde genes will continue to be cancelled out until that is widespread. If you have more light alleles, you'll be light. That along with recombination can lead to different children of one couple being lighter or darker than their siblings.

There are plenty of cases where a mixed race child will have children who are even lighter, and there are plenty of white people who have some black ancestor in their lineage.

People naturally prefer lighter women, so men will marry and have more children with lighter women
