how do i get over my politics addiction?
Stop watching TV
Stop going to /pol/
Stop talking to people
>>37598447
start arguing more, it helped me out when I went from trump to national socialism to just accusing everyone of being a jew. Eventually I figured out politics were nothing more than a big dick contest of turning on each other the most

Realize that knowing stuff about politics won't get you far in life anyway. You can even work as a janitor and be more down to Earth than if you're a 20 something y/o neet alt-righter.
Impossible.Politics is life.
Everything you can do ,everything you look forward too in life is determined by politics.Only way to neglect it entirely is to abandon society as a whole

Get a better hobby, just like everything else
1. Stop going to /pol/
2. Grow out of your teenage years
3. Be born again if you're dumb enough to fall for Trump's shit
>>37598447
just realize that the jews are always gonna jew, the muslims are always gonna mudslime, and the niggers always gonna nigg
and it's not going to ever change, so no use thinking about it. Treat it like background noise.

turn 15. I'm not even joking I was obsessed with politics until I turned 15
>bro is a politician
>dad used to be a politician
>now he's pressuring me into getting into politics
>tfw only interested in global affairs
Step One is to stop falling for /pol/'s bullshit
>muh /pol/
You newfags do realize that 4chan has always been edgy right? You niggers would probably yell muh /b/ if they were still keeping up with that leejun shit
>>37598837
There's nothing wrong with being into politcs. There's everything wrong with being some /pol/tard.
>>37598984
4chan has always been more contrarian than anything else.
>Dubya in office
Christfags and other conservatives are constantly mocked and are made objects of derision
>Obongo in office
Libfags and SJWs are constantly made fun of
>Trump in office
Still in his first few months, but you can see the slow turn against him

>getting this asshurt at another board
Did the big wasis call you mean names little guy?
>>37598984
/pol/ is not 4chan, newfriend. And /pol/ is not edgy.
>>37599047
They are the new face that's it.Which is why I implied if not them you faggots would be complaining about /b/ and even /v/
They only crime they committed was attracting all these newfags who can't even bother to assimilate to board culture ,part of the reason why this board has gone to shit
>>37599012
Contrarian to popular culture yes.Our society and media is still overwhelmingly liberal so doubt than a shift will happen anytime soon
>>37598837
Weird. I didn't care about politics until I turned 18 and was allowed to vote.
There's little point being interested in politics unless you have a career in it. Even the most basic shit. How does knowing who the president is enhance your life? Your only goal is to duck bitches, get money, maybe get "enlightenment" if your into that. Politics is a distraction from those goals. The media covers politics so much to make you feel powerless, like an ant constantly being informed of elephants and their movements.
Accept that you have no impact on politics, only an impact on your life, and the people close to you.(nobody is close to me)

Why do /pol/edditors get so defensive over their little echo chamber?
>>37599511
You tell us buttercup you fags complaining about ,/pol/ and reddit are annoying
>>37598987
>the pot calling the kettle black
That's something
