>tfw have an interview for cashier position at grocery store tomorrow morning.
>21 yr old unicuck who has never had a job
>lied and said i have cashier experience
>so anxious i cant sleep

Awww, don't worry about it, Anon. You'll probably do good at that job!
>>37552454
Hey man fuck it
Play the part the whole time
use the old "oh they did it different at my old job" line as MUCH as you can
As long as you act like you know what you're doing fuck it you're in.
ALSO they wont fire you they'll just train you the way they want make sure to listen and just be confident
They will train you to use their machines. Pay attention and don't be scared to ask questions. I was scared my first time too. The worst part is talking to customers. I had 6 greetings I would cycle through so nobody would hear me use the same one in a line of customers
go to a 24 hour grocery store or drug store then a variety store, or go on youtube for people in stores and just watch what the cashiers do and how they go from scanning/input to handling cash to receipt
it's not a hard job, you've been on the other side of the register enough and the average cashier is dumb enough that it is not a difficult procedure to run

Just think of jonathan
>>37552454
more people do this than you would think. you will still be trained regardless
>>37552454
if you're a unistudent, you're already over qualified
your "not having experience" is equivalent to 1000 low iq'ers "having 30 years of experience".
You lied. Unless you know of anyone who has cashier experience and what it's like you're FUCKED. Just wait until job title specific questions come up and they'll be able to tell you weren't a cashier

>Just wait until job title specific questions come up and they'll be able to tell
wait until they get out the penis inspection sticks, then they'll REALLY know.
op fucked up and he has to pay the consequences
>>37553242
did the same thing with the greetings, it just becomes part of your auto pilot program after a while. same with most other things. in the beginning i would still "wake up" for returns and discounts and stuff but after a few weeks i could go an entire day without breaking the flow.

Remember, wagie, no breakie until you sell 8 membership rewards cards. I expect at least 4 of them to have been sold by the time I finish my coffee.
