Because emulators exists so I won't need one. Also I had one and I didn't like it so I sold it then a week or two after I did gravity rush 2 was announced to only be on ps4 so then my vita became useless... I hate consoles

I would play on PC but I have a laptop and I don't like using Windows unless necessary (fucking PowerPoint) but then I just go to the library computers.

I don't own either a PlayStation 4 or an Xbox One.

What's the point in dropping $200 or $300 or $400 on a virtual escape?

I can spend that money on airfare to another country and have a real-life adventure.

While I have nothing against video games, my priorities have changed since I was younger. If I come across a great deal of disposable income, I'll upgrade my console.

Until then, I'd rather use my money for other purposes.

I don't buy a console before it's cracked open and lets me pirate games. I was thinking of buying a PS4 anyway but the library isn't that good that I can't just wait.

Because it's more like $600 for a plane ticket and everything else is going to cost a lot more than at home unless you live in Silicon Valley and/or are going to some stinking hellhole like Cambodia.

I just did two and a half weeks in Ecuador. The plane ticket cost $350 and I had a wonderful time.

You don't have to go to stinking third-world countries. By all means - please stay at home on your PlayStation.
