I was going to say that, because the two pictures for die B are ambiguous as to whether they capture all sides or rather overlap (as in maybe some of sides pictured in the above are reused in the below) to hide extra sides. These extra sides could then theoretically have zero dots on them, making the lowest possible score equal to one.
I like my reasoning better than the reality.
