well really it just depends on what you like. you could try just using conditioner for a bit, or you could even try washing it every 2 days. it also could just be the current length, when I was growing mine out from a buzzcut it looked awkward up until around 16 months.

I do believe long hair is the ultimate robot symbol. I don't cut my hair because the prospect of going to the hairdressers is not something that appeals to me. I'd have to interact with them. Going outside also takes an extraordinary amount of mental and physical effort so I don't do it. I also like having long hair anyway.

First: your hair fros because it lacks moisture. Get one of these wide tooth combs and use warm or cold, but not hot, water to shower.

When showering, wait until the mane is really wet before doing anything. Once it's really soaked and you can flop it around, shampoo or use cleanser or whatever the hell. Don't use shampoo more than once or twice a week or when it's dirty, and rub it with your fingertips on the scalp, not the hair, in a circular motion. Rinse off.

Then you can apply conditioner in the surface of the hair, and especially the tips. Let it settle for a bit while you soap your body or something. Once it's absorbed use the comb to GENTLY undo the knots while it's soaked, sometimes doing it under the stream helps. Don't pull too hard.

Once it's knot free you can apply and leave in a bit of conditioner or some styling cream if you want so the moisture is locked in an the curls keep shape and weight. Curls LOVE moisture. Scrunch the curls into your head with your palms, and use something cotton like a t-shirt to absorb WITHOUT RUFFLING the excess moisture. Let it air-dry. The more it dries the less you should touch it, because that will cause frizz. I like to straighten only half of the hair with a comb and let the tips curl.

Moroccan oil every couple weeks is good if you're feeling extra faggy.

Find a stylist that knows curls, this is important. Try the gay part of town because nobody cuts hair like the homos. For cuts some people like tapered sides so it's controlled, and a little longer on top if you have the facial structure for it but I personally like Bunbury/Slash length curls. Check youngstalin for hair inspo and beware which ones are for actually curly hair.

Save this in a notepad or something, I've learned a lot and it helps.

You should probably condition your hair a little more. I'd recommend getting one specifically for curling hair. Also, you have quite a long face and I think you'd be better off getting more body around the top like pic. It'll give you the illusion of higher cheekbones and emphasize your jaw.
