I'm just waiting until my next psychiatrist appointment so I can either get something to stop the restlessness Abilify gives me, or to get a new medication. I'm really mad at myself now that I took the afternoon appointment on the 22nd over the morning appointment on the 11th just so I could sleep in. It takes so long to get in, I hate it. I hate feeling like I'm just waiting for things to happen but I don't know what else to do.

What is it supposed to do for me? Stop hallucinations, stop me from going psychotic, stabilize my mood. I guess it did all those things but it made me feel a bit dizzy, messed with my sleep, and the restlessness was extremely painful and uncomfortable.

I hate saying the word psychotic, its so edgy and overused, but that's truly what it is.

Restlessness is every muscle in my body felt like it was being burned and the only way to feel better was to move so i was just walking and rolling on the floor and moving my body constantly to make the pain stop but it never did. Antipsychotics lower your serotonin levels a lot and that's what causes restlessness.

I feel okay now, I only took it for 4 days because it felt so bad I wanted to die.

Not OP, but I got my eval in the psych ward.

If you're going to one of your own free will, you're going to spend at least an hour talking with the guy, who'll probably ask you questions and give you a diagnosis based on your answers and some of the behavior you exhibit while talking to him. I'll tell you this right now: you must be 100% honest about everything or you won't get the help you may need, and that just wastes everyone's time, including yours.
