If you don't cut your toenails on regular basis, the fungis and bacterial cultures that proliferate on their surfaces will exacerbate the keratin until they start turning yellow, becoming brittle and ultimately growing inward your flesh.

Basically a skeleton, yeah. I'm Christian Bale in the machinist skinny, except less muscle and a little more fat so I don't look quite as gaunt.
I eat maybe 1500 calories on average, some days more, some less. My diet's extremely random. A mixture of an un-regimented diet, skinny genes, height, age and a lazy lifestyle make it possible.

You'd be surprised at how skinny people can get before they keel over and die. Layne Staley was 36 kg or so and 6'1 when they found his body.
