don't worry about god. he's not there. not in any form you could even imagine; certainly not in a form that would care or even notice anything you ever did.

there may be some sort of cosmic intelligence underlying the structure of reality, but its thoughts would be inconceivable to us. it wouldn't judge anything as good or bad. it would care about you infinitely less than you care about the actions of unicellular amoebas on the underside of a rock in the middle of the Atlantic.

if you read people's near-death experiences, you'll notice they sound remarkably similar to dreams. they're disjointed and make very little sense. Researchers have also found that they can induce NDEs in people by manipulating parts of their brain. it's highly unlikely there's any sort of afterlife.

once your brain dies, that's it. everything you were was contained there. being dead will be just like the state before birth.
