Probably and my dad tells me how he graduated without being fluent in english and yet paid off his college debt in less then a year and had a wife and a gf before the time he was 30.

it's not them being rich that's the problem, it's that they don't reinvest into the economy, be it by avoiding taxes, getting tax breaks, outsourcing jobs, etc...

i don't know any illegal person that's above middle class. you might see them driving new cars, but they never actually improve or progress into an upper middle class society.

The idea is that the spics are doing jobs for extremely low wages which might have risen without them there to work for $3/hour under the table or minimum wage in any situation. I know they live in squalor, that's kind of the point. I wasn't implying they are hogging all the wealth in their mansions. this may be true, but i'm curious in seeing the correlation and some research into it. i guess your average immigrant wouldn't ask for a raise or demand changes to low wages, but at the same time the jobs they usually have, mcdonalds, dishwashers, bus boys, etc weren't really jobs with potential to have higher pay. you could argue though that laborer jobs like farm workers, construction, factories, etc have stagnated in their growth/pay.

Personally I think the OP is overstating the degree of advantage that boomers had or how bad things are today. All the major consumer products you'd want are significantly cheaper and thousands of times better than what you'd get living in the 50's or 60's - fucking availability of fresh fruit and veg and supermarket foods is VASTLY better than the 1980's.

The real issue for me at least is the cost of property (I'm in Australia). My parents worked very little and rarely and yet they were able to buy a tiny little house which they sold shortly after, but which today is valued at about 1.5m.

The strangest thing about all this is that the current generation of young people have the best access to information and communication tools ever in human history, but none of them are organising to reform these issues...even in passive, non-spooked ways.

We're not talking 'just' fresh fruit and veg here, though. EVERYTHING important is vastly cheaper. Electricity, water... air conditioning if there's a heat wave, heating if you live somewhere that gets cold... it's all vastly better, safer, cheaper. The internet alone makes things radically different, and opens up so many more possibilities.
