Fuck it. Why not just do a full-blown tour of my bedroom? That'll be fun, right? What could possibly go wrong?

First stop is my bed. It's on the floor because I broke the frame. I almost bought a new bed frame but after some time, I realized I kind of like it better this way. You'll notice that it isn't quite against the wall. This is because the outlet placement in my bedroom is quite strange; there's nowhere else you could put the bed that wouldn't block an outlet. So I left a small gap.

Directly beside my bed lies my "nightstand," a red plastic crate with holes in it. It's kind of useful, I guess. The crate conceals cables very well, from a distance. I use the holes to hold the cables neatly, so I can find them in the dark. Inside the crate is a power strip.

To the right of my bed and nightstand are my guitars. The acoustic one was a gift from my mother, given to me in 2011. The red, electric one was free. I got it off Craigslist. A guy said he didn't want it anymore and if I could fix it, I could have it. "I" fixed it, and by "I," I mean Guitar Center.
The electric guitar plugs into a state-of-the-art $45 amp. It sounds so beautiful, when I play the neighbors screech in ecstasy. It shocks me sometimes. Literally. It shocks me.
The Altoids box contains extra guitar picks, and the grey thing is a tuner that I also got for free. The tuner cost $5 and doesn't work very well, but I'm grateful to have it anyway.

I really didn't want to buy the MBA, but I got sick of dealing with GNU+Linux, Windows became a pile of telemetry-infested junk, Lenovo destroyed the newer ThinkPads, etc.

That said my MBA's internal keyboard failed after just over a year and I'm pretty pissed off about that, plus I've been really disappointed with Apple's recent hardware updates (and lack thereof in many cases) and depending on what the next MBP update brings I might seriously consider another non-Mac.
