I think the blackest pill is genetics and the physical laws of the universe. There is so much about our human action and perception that is ruled by unknown implicit biases and genetic influences. For example if you're a man and you like MTG. You chose that right? Well not really, there is a huge genetic component to liking strategic games and certain personality types are drawn to them. Men are also much more likely to seek out strategic games for enjoyment than women.

Another example is the way you judge people. The physical configuration of a person's face will usually subconsciously tell you if that person is trustworthy or not. It's the same reason so many people will react with the same face of disgust when looking at you even though they know literally nothing about you. Genetics and the environment rule every single detail about us. There's nothing left, we all play this game of life on rails.

Lesser beings as ourselves deserve our lot in life, because we are by nature wicked petty he done, grasping at any opportunity to satisfy our urges at the cost of others, like a drowning man clutches at splinters of wood that would not keep him afloat. We are evil, and ruin everything we touch.
The fantasy that we are somehow more moral, perhaps even intelligent underdogs is simply a judeo-nerd fantasy. Just like revenge fantasies of becoming the employers of our betters through dedicated schooling, or if some cataclysmic events should reshuffle the social order.
But we only fool ourselves. I am trash. And I only inflict more pain on myself and others by my struggle against the system, which was designed to protect good human specimens from rebellious degenerates such as myself.
And like other evil ones who realise there is no recourse, remorse or redemption, my plan remains to take others with me. No angel will save me in this life. Hell awaits.

This is something that I researched too and it made me shit bricks, although I disagree it's 100% genetic.

Reading books regarding neurology, psychology and its social implications can really blow your mind, but it is very hard to apply because the brain has a built in mechanism that makes you very resistant to change, specially when it's for the better (Freud I think called it the "Death Wish"), and it makes you hate this stuff even when you acknowledge how benefitial can this be for yourself.
