They're still predatory animals, anon. Several of them might kill you. Fossil records show that despite their relatively small size, they still had all the predatory traits and sharp as fuck claws and they could probably jump high.

I'm not trying to trash on TMA (traditional martial arts) since a lot of them are still very good fighting styles (kyokushin karate and muay thai) most of those techniques have already been adapted into a modern martial art syllabus. That's why MMA is called "mixed martial arts" it's taking several effective techniques from one and modernizing them while including full-contact sparring

Krav maga is basically the street version of that, though many techniques would be much harder to implement in full-contact sparring.

With proper training and conditioning (obviously including full-contact sparring, I keep mentioning that because sparring is INCREDIBLY important to becoming an efficient martial artist) then yes...

it'd be very possible to dispatch of a single velociraptor with unarmed techniques. Easy for a professional fighter or a master martial artists, even.

Remember, velociraptor aren't actually that large. The creatures portrayed in Jurassic park actually resembled deinonychus more so than raptors.

Well, just from my basic knowledge on raptors, I'd probably try to keep the fight in the stand-up phase initially.

Raptors seem to favor their legs and they'd probably jump at me, so I'd utilize muay thai leg kicks exclusively. Unless the raptor is trained to defend that, he's going to have sore legs really quick, significantly dampening his leg power. Once he's weakened and slows down, I'll probably close in for the clinch and knee the hell out of him. Throw in some elbows too.

But I've been training in martial arts since I was 12. It's the only thing I'm good and believe me, I'm pretty good at it. I have experience in judo, sambo, freestyle wrestling, muay thai, some karate and brazilian jiu jitsu.

I train 3-4 times a week, been doing it for years. I'm prepared and HIGHLY conditioned to defend my virginity to my last fucking breath.

If you were outstandingly fast you could outrun one. Thing is it would probably be able to outlast you. While both of us evolved to follow our prey until it died of exhaustion T-rex did so on a much larger scale hunting hadrosaurs larger then present day elephants. It's been hypothesized that Trex can only run up to 18 mph.
The majority of raptors you could possibly beat up, correct. However, like other anons have stated if you run into anything larger then say deinonychus you would be ripped apart. The majority of raptors were small hunters but the likes of Utahraptor and Megaraptor did exist and they would fuck you up.
Only theropods had feathers really, while there's evidence of feathers on the lizard hipped dinos it's only on the smaller primitive ones so it doesn't mean much. T rex should have feathers but not wooly mammoth tier you hear me?
