I had this happening to me too, but I think I fixed it. Type in 'Task Scheduler' in the windows search feature and open it. Then go to Library > Microsoft > Office. Scroll down to the one that says OfficeBackgroundTaskHandlerRegistration and disable it. If you're paranoid that disabling it will mess something up, you can right click, go to properties, and then go to Change User or Group and type in System, and that should work too.

For all the robots out there suffering this problem

click your windows key, type in taskeng.exe, open it up, go to view and select show hidden tasks, then click on task schedule library.

Go to the centre of the screen, expanding the names and dates of the scheduled tasks, you should be able to find whatever is being opened and closed by comparing the times of launch to whenever it happened, usually it's due to a bug or error, just update/reinstall/remove/repair the program causing the issue

Oh yeah, if when you search for taskeng.exe, multiple others pop up and they take up a large amount of space, they're viruses pretending to be a windows program, typically taskeng.exe is only found in system32 and windows folders.

Happy browsing my robo lads.
