Britbong here, waiting on comfy thunderstorms to hit; shall we get the comfyness going prematurely?
Post whatever kind of comfy stuff you want, most of mine is rain-related though.
>>37310669
Aside from the stuff that's just comfy afternoon shots
Comfy thunderstorms? Fuck off, as if we don't get enough fucking rain here.
Couple days of nice weather, bit of heat, then we have to have a fucking solid month of rain. I hate this country.
>>37310669
You in London?
>>37310897
Appreciate the rain mayne, I'm a bit further up north, last summer was dry as fuck, ground water levels are at a 50 year peak low and they're predicting an even drier summer this time. Heat is fugin killing me too.
>>37310908
Nah, Birmingham. I've been looking forward to thunder all day, but it looks like it's just missed me :c
I'm really hoping it starts raining more here too. I wanted to get coffee and watch the rain on my day off last week, but it ended up being a beautiful, sunny day instead. Fucking disgusting.
finally a thread worth posting in
>>37310953
OP here; I wholeheartedly agree. I think I'd rather take widespread flooding over a really hot summer
>>37311069
That's a really comfy image; do you have any more sunset stuff?
>>37311147
i've got all kinds of comfy for you friend
>spent today reading in the park in the sunshine
>now waiting for my dinner to cook in the oven while drinking tea and posting on r9k

>>37311308
>>37311349
This is slowly turning into a 'flowers + sunset' thread; can't say that I'm complaining.
This reminds me that I haven't had earl grey in a while, I should really go and get some
sitting here also drinking tea listening to mogra setlists while a nice breeze flows. pretty comfy.
>>37310669
This is really comfy too, I should really get back into reading and stuff
>>37311603
What's a mogra?
>>37311663
a nightclub in Akihabara that plays lots of anime-themed dance music. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6tmb1zRxppQ
Went hiking here last week and thought it was a pretty comfy place.
Wanted to spend the night but didn't have a tent, unfortunately.

Those spikey plants look pretty angry desu. But aside from that, I can imagine it being pretty comfy at night. Do you reckon that you'd be able to see the milky way and stuff from there? (weather permitting)
Just another horrible day. I need more comfy threads in my life. Hope you all are comfy bros
Coming back home from uni tomorrow anons
Can I get some feelsy, melancholic yet undeniably optimistic music to complete the comfy.
I need some to reflect on whilst it dawns that I've spent first year mainly alone in my room whilst people were out making bonds for life, trying new things and meeting new people.I...I swear it'll be different next year.
>>37312497
The feeling's mutual friend; want any specific kind of comfy to sooth your pain?

Never heard of that place previously but i definitely want to go there now
Anyone else ever think what the essence of "comfy" means? I think it's "feeling like home". Not necessarily your home, but what you want home to be
>>37311219
You got any pics? that sounds really comfy
>>37313361
You, sir, are a connoisseur of comfy; a genius of gentleness, and a poster of poise. Bretty gud,
>>37313490
It's more of a state of mind, I'm sure. Different images/music/whatever trigger it in different people; but I seem to find that everything seems so much easier when I'm comfy.
Am I the only one who finds camping stuff really comfy? Like, those people who make their own tents and film themselves sleeping out in them (sometimes in rainy weather) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=el-UMWOHUw0
>>37311017
i'm in portsmouth and it was thundering on saturday morning at around 4am. the sun was coming up too. very comfy. supposed to be thundering down here tomorrow - i'm very excited.
>>37313849
I always check the weather and stuff using this https://earth.nullschool.net/ ; it seems to be pretty spot on for that kind of thing. Wishing you a very comfy tomorrow anon
>>37313885
wow this is pretty cool, so the green is what, faster wind?
Thanks, you too.
>>37313983
Yep, if you click (or tap, if phoneposting) the spot on the globe, it'll tell you exactly how fast it is. You can mess around with what the globe displays too; so if you go to the Earth thingy and the bottom left of the screen, you can change it to show stuff like TPW (total precipitable water) and TCW (total cloud water). If you want to know whether it'll thunder, the CAPE (Convective available potential energy from surface) is a good indicator of thunder (higher potential energy, higher chance of lightning). I think the smallest time increment you can skip ahead by is like 3 hours, and obviously it gets less accurate the further you skip; but it seems to be pretty spot on, in the most part.
>>37310897
Complete opposite here. Currently experiencing the worst drought in the last 100 years.
>>37314313
Where abouts are you anon? That sounds like hell on earth to me
finally a comfy thread, i remember when these were more frequent. I love these threads because they are so peaceful and devoid of hate.
>>37314577
OP here; I only ever come here for the comfy threads, so seeing that there wasn't one made me a little sad. ((So I fixed it))
>>37310669
storm just passed here in ND. sat outside for a while grilling some hotdogs and enjoying the fresh air. now just chillin out eating and listening to some CCR. might make some mac n cheese to go with them. aww yeah man tripping on memories of camping as a kid. feels good
>>37314653
Same, only come r9k for theseand belly threads
I think the lack of popularity contributes to the comfiness to be honest, they're rare and it gives time to replenish comfy images too
I'm watching Return of the Living Dead, after finishing up Yukikaze. My afternoon has been comfy.
>>37314721
Camping memories are the best kind of memories, can confirm.Slightly less-comfy memories of oneitis notwithstanding
>>37314465

Thunderstorms are comfyness concentrated into liquid format.
>>37314807
I can't say I've heard of Yukikaze before; is it any good?
What are some comfy mkvies? I watched the ova robot carnival recently and it is pretty cozy. Would recommend.
>>37314966

Brings me back to before my grandma died. camping out at jam sessions listening to some good ass live bluegrass. sitting around the fire cooking hot dogs and smores. ohh yeah
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sU_tjb0MceY
there's this state park called Cross Ranch where a bunch of musicians from all over the state would meet up and camp. would get the park to let them use the little stage there and just play music for hours. I still remember seeing my grandma and grandpa up there playing, hearing my grandma sing.. I'd give anything to re-live those memories.
>>37310669
Where is the cafe in the pic located?
