Unless you're tragically and hopelessly ugly or live in an impoverished country, you have the chance to uplift yourself.

I started saving money and traveling money several months before my 20th birthday, over my university's summer break. I went by myself, lost my virginity, learnt to make small talk, and gained a ton of confidence by leaving my comfort zone.

Also learned a lot, found a few new hobbies, and continued working my ass off to afford travel and other stuff.

Learned that I didn't care much about electronics, don't play video games too often, and use 4chan way less than I used to.
