But as someone who was a NEET for 6 years, I will say it is a private hell. Wagecucking may suck, I don't get thrilled over assembling burritos for hours at a time at Taco Bell, but all things considered it's better than being a NEET. Even if he gets handouts he's doomed to a more miserable life than if he could actually get an entry level job (yes, even a phone job).
But who knows how mhc more family support he'll get? The fact that he couldn't go to college, can't go to physical therapy (I'm assuming this but if he could afford it why wouldn't he go), and has to take the bus means they're probably not well off and won't be able to support him forever.
It's posts like this that make me feel better about my situation.
