I'm part of a program that helps students who have no family members that went to college get adjusted and I had to take some weird classes.

My professor almost failed me for a bunch of reasons. Once because my legs were open too wide when some fat faggots came to talk about how they were normal, how the dictionary says xhe is a pronoun, and how they know and understand biology behind their shit. It was a required diversity course for education, I'm in biology education. I think I only passed because the prof was Turkish and I'm part Armenian and she always said she felt guilty.

Also on a quiz I got half off for using the word handicapped when talking about handicapped parking. Prof said to use lesser abled. Went with that for the next one, came back with a zero since you shouldn't use less when referring to people.

What will go a long way is to take these into account:

Attendance for the class was for a grade. Not only did you willingly choose to blow it off, but you also lied about it. To them, this is no different than if you were to cheat or lie for any other class, and it's also indicative to them that you're the type of person to do that now.

When they ask you a question, give short, concise, responses. Do not argue, do not justify what you did.

Yes it may seem stupid because of the class but from their perspective you committed academic dishonesty, which is very black and white. You are at their mercy.
