If you don't do a pre-u DEC then you can't apply to universite until you're 21. You still also have to take pre-requisite classes and tests.

If you also have a DEC with good grades its a better chance of getting accepted in your program too.

So it's not a totally waste, especially not if you know what to do after and you know what you want to study in university. It also give you a chance to get your dick wet before you REALLY have to study hard.

My advice is to drop out and just work part-time and think about what you want to do.

We have no time to think as soon as we graduate high school it's straight into cegep and have to deal with more bullshit and still have to take bullshit gym classes and fill the gaps in our schedule with like English and Humanities random classes of whatever fits in the time slot and not what we want to learn.
