Anon, I went to the driving school yesterday, met childhood friend/acquaintance, he shadowed a bunch of professionals, decided he likes being an internist, made the cut to skip undergrad and went straight into medschool, bright kid, really knows and works for what he wants in life.

Me on other hand, failed 3/4 piss easy biochem classes on my first term, retook them this semester, passed with a 2.48 GPA, and atm begging to change into CS, not knowing what a CS graduate even do and not knowing the first thing about coding, my only consolation is that I'm pretty good with algebra

GPA tanked in sophomore year from 3.2 to 2.5; missed classes and just fapped all day; wasted my money on dominoes and wings cuz too afraid and lazy to go to DC. Managed to get a job at a library for the summer last year while saving up for the semester; studied when I could and managed to understand a lot of the material. Semester starts, retook all 4 classes I got Fs in; shit was pretty easy, I just wasn't applying myself as much

Managed to get a proper internship this summer at a bank; spoke to so many people currently working there, stalked the recruiters and bothered them with questions so they'd remeber me, went to all 6 info sessions and did super good on the interview eventually.

currently at 2.9 gpa; saving money to take a 4 credit class this summer to possibly push gpa to 3.0 before senior year starts this fall. its not as hard as you make it out to be anon, just start somewhere; anywhere.

Double major huh? Sounds crazy, but stats and econ seem like good synergy, I guess I can be happy about missing the dominoes and wings part. I'm thinking of working part-time and study some introductory discrete math and jave ahead of the schedule, but long history of wasting summer away isn't making me so confident. I'm glad to hear things are coming together for you, I really hope we will all make it.
