I don't know what they're called, but they're formed from static electricity gathering in discarded hairs. That electricity eventually self-organizes and animates the hairs, creating a pseudo-sentient creature, like a natural mini-frankenstein. You need to dust more often to get rid of them, but if you have a pet you're fucked even if you do because all of that shedding is bound to create them.
>>
Sage! You broke that little spider. It only has seven feet now.

Well that sounds paranormal.

For further verification I got closer to it and took clearer photos.

I would describe him as curious, moving around his front mandibles and consistently looking around at his environment.

He actually gave me quite a scare as when I was taking the photos he jumped at my camera lens.

It's interesting because both times I got close with the camera he seemed to immediately react to it. Even jumping on it the first time.

But when I got my face close to him to see if he would do the same he didn't.

they pretty much just see you as something to walk on, i've been handling jumping spiders for years and have never been bitten, it's fun to set up a little enclosure for them to move around in. they will eat just about any insect that isnt larger than them, they'll even eat crane flies
