If we're talking big chain restaurants then I would probably say either popeyes (when its fresh) or Canes. I'm also a big fan of Whataburgers strips.

Popeyes is reliably good. Hardee's/Carl's can be upper echelon if the fry cooks are feeling chipper.

Raising Cane's, but not every location. Zaxby's is more consistent than a Cane's location that fries too hot or too long.

Kristen Krunchy Chicken. If you haven't had it, HAVE it. Srs.

Seriously, my home made tendies I make from my own chickens are the best tendies

kfc's tendies are so fucking bad they don't even taste like chicken

Frustratingly I don't live near any places like Canes or Chick-Fil-A and even so, their tendies are never as big or appealing as they appear on TV

I've tried Tyson's and Foster Farms tendies and they both disappoint. Misshapen, weird tasting chicken with far too much rib meat.

The only tendies that have been 100% enjoyable (when they're fresh) is the ones I get from the deli at Smith's. I haven't found any other good ones so far.
