I doubt it. I have to wash my hair every morning to get all the greasy oil out. I also tried the no shampoo meme for 3 months. It didn't change anything and was just a disgusting experience and waste of time. If I fall asleep for even an hour it'll get greasy. All manner of shampoo types have made no difference. There seems to be nothing for it. Just make sure to keep your sheets and pillows washed. I do mine every 3 days. It won't change the oily hair situation but you don't want all that oil rubbing off on the pillows and then onto your face causing pimples that can be prevented.

other types of hair should go a few days in between but if you are producing too much oil you need to wash it

maybe try a coconut oil mask to hydrate your hair and scalp so your body doesnt think you need to make tons of hair grease

I'm surprised no poo didn't work. You aren't just swapping out poo for soap are you? That's even worse.

I do nopoo but still shower each morning and night. Just a good scrub and rinse.

Just wash your hair everyday you lazy fuck

shampoo every other day
rinse with water well when it's no poo day (wash your hands before)
also remember not to rinse your hair with hot water
and only use very little conditioner just on the ends of your hair (if you do condition at all, i don't)

Wash with plain water + microfiber cloth. Dry with another microfiber cloth. Wash microfiber clothes after every use. "No poo" only works if combined with microfiber cloth.
