It's a currency that is eventually going to be worth a significant amount more. It has increased about 100 dollars in the last two weeks per coin. And about 160 dollars since last year

anybody??? etherium seems like its going to be worth like 500+ in 3 years? it has newer technology than bitcoin?

Why shouldn't I invest in it right now?

For cryptocurrencies to ever have a serious impact outside small internet use their price has to stabilize. No one will buy/sell using a currency that can change 5%< in a day like its nothing

I'm talking about big-time use. About being able to use btc (or etherium) to buy groceries. Until then no one will take cryptocurrency seriously. And this won't happen until it stabilizes, because no business would have any sizeable portion of its value in a currency that is so stupidly volatile.

I never quite understand this mentality. If you have a coinbase and realize you need money you can sell of a small amount for w/e. The only real problem I have with this or coinbase rather is that it takes fucking 3 days for them to post the money. I literally bought dark souls 3 with money from selling off bitcoin

etheruium is now more profitable to mine than bitcoin.

bitcoin has gone up 1200 since last year, people take these currencies very seriously because they haven't reached their platue yet.

When more and more places start accepting them as legal tender, their prices will boom and eventually stabilize. The crypto market isn't as big as it seems, and with few players buying and selling, it creates the volatility.
