I did it for a few weeks. When i came back to porn, my heart raced like it was the first time i've seen porn. cumming did not feel as nearly as good as the first time though. Other then that, it helped me get rid of erectile dysfunction after the second week, and the ED came back after i started fapping again.

Personally for me, after a week of nofap, it clears my brainfog and I objectively go up in skill in video games when I nofap. For me, that's reason enough.

Tried nofap multiple times with varying degrees of failure. Feels great early on but after about a week and a half I hit a flat line which had me feeling even shittier than before so I craved in. I think its more beneficial to just try to cut back fapping rather than cut it out of your life entirely

So you are getting a mixed of answers because you feel many different things during no fap initially. You feel great after a couple days, then you get downers and urges, depressed. It is like withdrawal symptoms. Then you feel great again after a couple of days. Then you feel like raping someone and extremely horny but then that dies down if you survive that period. Then you don't think about sex so often. You start feeling pleasure of the little things you do in life and more motivation. Anxiety and depression are cleared most likely because you have dopamine to motivate you. Dopamine is the pleasure chemical in your brain, porn is sort of like drugs when you are not high on it you feel the downers and dull and depressed. So after 2 months you feel amazing. Look at it like this Anon, I've never fapped in my life. I think I got thrush when I was a kid or even baby but I have 0 sensitivity on my dick and even though I clean myself several times a week, it's still numb/dull. I will never know the pleasures people get from masturbation and sex. Life is truly suffering, doesn't help I had phimosis until I was about 19-20 when I managed to work the skin enough that it didn't feel like agony when I tried to pull the skin back.
