It's not that hard to figure out. The way I see it there are two routes you can take: the wage slave route or the self employed route. The wage slave route is easier because someone else already "defined" it for you, and you just need to make your resume fit the mold of whatever job you set your sights on. I think software is especially good because you don't need that many qualifications to start making a lot of money. Finance/medicine/law are good if you do them correctly (for finance and law you better go to top schools) but they're a lot more work.

Going self employed, you can make a lot more money, but you have to figure it out yourself. You can make big money doing stupid shit like construction subcontracting.

I used to live in an international dorm for a while. There were hardly any dumb people living there. Even when people would simply hang out and drink together, we'd always jump from funny topis to deep ones. There were always girls attending our hang-outs too, and the best thing was that there were hardly any monoglots around. Most people were fluent in at least three languages. It was really great.

Intelligence is important. As we get older and things that affect us become mote and more important I would certainly want to talk about it. I couldnt handle a girl that couldnt hold a decent conversation on philosophy or modern world problems or even ancient world problems and how we would have handled things.
