How do I make life feel like how this picture looks?
>>
You need to have autism and act as childish as possible
>>
>>37167603
They said I had a speeders a long time ago, and I've been told that I act pretty childish. I only do that in a sad way I think, because I keep feeling sad that I'm not really a child anymore. How do I make myself feel more childish in a happy way?
>>
>>37167655
I don't know. Try buying for yourself candies with some happy cartoon animal on the package.
>>
>>37167570
Really gray and dull? Looks boring imo
>>
>>37167671
But I don't have any money of my own and my mom doesn't like to buy me things anymore and it makes her sad when I act childish. It would probably be embarassing to ask for that anyway

>>37167680
I think it looks happy and comfy
>>
>>37167570
Can't. Best you'll get is remodel your home to a similiar fashion, maybe listen to fitting music and wait for rain.
>>
>>37167728
Do you think it would feel close at least? I live in an apartment so I can't do that right now but maybe one day
>>
You have to live the YOLO lifestyle. In doing so you're happier and more in the moment.
>>
>>37167570
Wear a skirt, sit on the kitchen floor, and cry into a mug of hot chocolate. Not really that hard, op.
>>
>>37167758
How do I do that? Isn't that kind of scary? It would be hard to stop living like this and live a whole different way I think

>>37167766
I am a boy and I would not look good in a skirt and I am allergic to chocolate

>Do you think it would feel close at least?
Well, sure, why not? I mean, the kind of atmospheric "feels" we're talking about here are very much dependent on how your environment looks, your own current mindset, music and sounds, as well. So if you match them to the image and get in a comfy mood, it'll work.
>>
>>37167796
Don't they give steroid injections at jamba juice or some shit? Ask your dad to teach you how to be a man.
>>
>>37167796
That doesn't mean you wouldn't be able to wear a skirt and cry into a mug of hot chocolate. You're the one who asked how to make your life feel like that picture and I'm simply telling you how. I don't care whether you do it or not.
>>
>>37167570

Buy or rent an old, small New England house. Really your only option
>>
>>37167858
Looks more like an apartment to me.
>>
that picture looks pretty melancholy to me

slumped to the floor in the cluttered kitchen of your tiny apartment, all alone, staring at the rain out the window with heavy eyelids

my life feels like that now
>>
>>37167821
That sounds nice then I think. I hope one day I can live somewhere nice like that. Thanks anon.

>>37167827
What? And I can't ask him to do that it would be awkward and I don't know if I'm ready to become a real man. I wanna stay a little boy forever

>>37167847
Okay sorry thank you for the advice

>>37167858
Maybe I should move there one day when I have money of my own and feel like I won't miss my mom too much. Thanks anon

>>37167871
But it feels nice in a way too, doesn't it? It makes me feel a little nostalgic too. It makes me want to feel nice and clean and eat comfy food and watch lets plays and not think about things that make me feel bad.
>>
>>37167903
>But it feels nice in a way too, doesn't it?

it's certainly comfy, but we have been confusing comfy with happy for too long now

There's different brands of comfy, anon. Comfydark is the best.

The real world cannot be comfy like your anime. Accepting this will be better for you.
>>
>>37167710
Oh, you know, you can't feel that way unless you live alone.
>>
>>37167903
Are you a neet? How do you plan on getting that money?
>>
>>37167570
it's my dream to one day live in a house like this
>>
>>37168018
does that pic come from krautchan? i think it was posted by some russian anon

anyway op, you don't. You can get a glimpse of those feelings either when you are happy after a long excruciating days long effort or when you are in a somewhat gloom state but you still know for sure in no long time you will certainly feel better.

when you are just plain depressed you just better harden the fuck up and work, trying to leave any thought out of your head
>>
>>37169195
snail-chan doesn't live alone, or she would have a footstool in her kitchen. No way she can reach the dishes in the cupboard over the sink without one. She probably has a nice lanky guy who goes off to work and takes care of her.
>>
>>37167570
Maybe you'll disagree with me, anon, but I think that picture is just a comfy - nostalgic one. I mean, you don't have to put on a skirt or buy a house, you just have to feel that comfy - nostalgic feel that is kinda warm, where you feel relaxed, and you feel sad and happy, kinda bittersweet, y'know what I mean?
Sunny, but not hot as fuck where it's annoying, days and mainly quiet places make me feel like that, but that depends on everyone. Yes, quiet, peaceful places make me feel like that. Sparklehorse's music also does that for me.

The key is to slow down your pace of living until even the most mundane actions become interesting and enjoyable.
>>
>>37172675
This. I only do this every once in a while, but slowing down and appreciating life, even if it's in a melancholic / nostalgic way, works
>>
>>37167871
it looks melancholic because you are melancholic. looks comfy to me

buy cute plants, candles, scents that fit you and put on music that you like and change the furniture to make it more "you" and then bask in a room in a blankie that's your own safe world with everything you need.
>>
>>37167570
You cant open the refrigerator. The chair and table are too close
>>
>>37169161
I can't accept it.
>>
>>37172675
How do I do that? Every day feels like it's going by so fast, it feels like I'm always in trouble too which makes me feel scared all the time.
>>
>>37169161
Nah, mate. It is possible.
>>
>>37174036
That's a really nice idea. I guess the space around you really has an effect on how you feel. My room is always dirty and filled with cans and trash and boxes that we didn't have room for anywhere else that my mom said she would get rid of if I didn't take them in my room. It's just a small plain white room with no free space after my desk and bed and dresser and the boxes. It doesn't feel very good if I'm being honest, but I don't have any money to change anything, and I'm afraid we'd just move again. I still like the idea, though.

>>37170670

How? Unless you're born with a wealthy family who are accommodating there's no way you're going to be free from the pressures of real world. At the minimum there will always be money woes and working isn't exactly comfortable. Knowing that my labor is only worth such a pitiful salary fills me with dread but really, what choice do I have?
>>
>>37175024
I've never seen someone articulate this feeling but I feel it too. It's strange because I'm a NEET; I can't imagine what it would be like if I had a job.

>is all about money

how frivolous and vanal. nice shit doesn't cost more than ugly shit. the most expensive furniture is usually the most soulless and oppressing. is more about the interest you put at choosing nice stuff to make your life nicer.
>>
>>37167570
That's how my life feels like, everything's moody and pointless, I just randomly sit at the couch for several minutes thinking of what a failure I am, then go back to my pc and waste some more life away
>>

I do not have an income, and I don't think my mom will want to buy me things just to make my room nicer. I could choose from stuff I already have but I don't think I have anything else that I like that I'd want to put up or decorate my room with.
>>

>Unless you're born with a wealthy family who are accommodating there's no way you're going to be free from the pressures of real world.
This is not true at all. You should take advantage of what you have and look for a way to be able to be happy with not so much or try to do something different in order to be more comfortable with your life. If you live in a first world country there shouldn't be many problems with that and you have a lot of opportunities, so you should consider that and take advantage of it.
>>
you need to learn how to relax. coldness and warm blanket plus hot cocoa also help.
>>
>>37176566
How else can I learn to relax?
>>
>>37176748
I'm not good at relaxing. You are askimg the wrong person. Try to obtain inner peace?

I love his music. You could try checking out more songs. My favorites are Saturday, Maria's little elbow, One sweet day, Little fat baby and Sea of teeth.
>>37175550
I also don't come from a wealthy family and I'm pretty much always under the pressure of life, but I've still had some pretty comfy moments.
It's pretty hard to articulate these feelings, but I'll try.
What I get from that picture is a bittersweet feeling, kinda like nostalgia, or that sweet, kinda joyful sadness. I feel like that every once in a while on peaceful moments, when I'm not fully stressed like I've been lately because of uni.
It's just really hard to describe. It's like being comfy and relaxed.
I usually feel like that on quiet moments, like when there's few people on the street and the day is nice, or on quiet afternoons. Being with friends can be pretty comfy, even though I haven't felt like that in a while.
I haven't felt relaxed in a while.
I hope you don't think I'm an ultra-normie chad or something, but I think the comfiest moments I've had where the ones with my ex-gf. We broke up long ago and I've been lonely romantic-wise, since.
Sorry for rambling so much, but it's hard for me to describe those feels. But I'd say it's just a comfy feel I get every once in a while when I'm not stressed and feel nostalgic. Even though life can be pretty stressful you should try and not feel like that always.
Even though I haven't felt like that in a while and I've been stressed and tired for a while, I'd say that's just a feeling one tends to feel every once in a while.
