>tfw all these treatments for crown thinning but nothing for us fucked hairline bros

It's 2017, why is this allowed?
>>
>>37151563
If you still have hair, and it's just thinning, then stop using shampoo. My hair stopped falling out and started thickening once I did that.

quit being a pussy and shave it like i did

you moaning hairlets are worse than women
>>
>>37151563
I have Norwood type 5a diffuse. My hairline is 99% intact, but from the hairline back to the vertex is thin enough to clearly see the scalp. Shit sucks. On the upside when it's shaved down lower than #1 it looks like I have a full head of hair. I'm currently trying low level laser therapy, supposedly it makes hair grow back in 30% of bald lab rats.
>>
I buzz it down every other week to a #00000. Gets the job done.
>>
I just shave it
Sure its not ideal, but there is more important stuff to think about
>>

Doesn't your hair get greasy as fuck without shampoo? You use something else instead? My dandruff increases like crazy if I leave my hair unwashed.
>>
>>37151997
Not him, but you can mechanically remove oil and sebum and shit with a small towel or something else.
>>
>>37151591
What about conditioner?
>>
Shaving my head was one of the best things that could have happened to me. Many thanks to a random Anon who recommended it to me.

What about using a really organic mild shampoo
>>

I never got the "just shave it bro" meme

I wonder who was the first guy to think of that.

>uhm.. this? No I'm not bald or balding or anything haha no I just totally made myself bald on purpose which is totally different, now no one will ever know that I'm balding. For all you know I have a full head of hair if I ever let it grow out!

what's the logic exactly You're not fooling anyone.
>>
>>37152400
No, usually when they shave their head they are balding. They aren't hiding that they are balding. Everyone else seems to know this, but you.
>>
>>37152400
Whatever you say, bro. Have fun with your comb-over.
>>
>>37152418
>They aren't hiding that they are balding.

Yes they are though, otherwise they would still let their hair grow out and style it like they would normally.

Instead of this meme "I can't be balding if I have no hair!" reverse-logic
>>
>>37152400
>what's the logic exactly You're not fooling anyone.
I have a shaved head and if people ask why I tell them I was balding and it was too much work to maintain. Not trying to fool anyone!
>>
>>37152379
>(((really organic)))
Most of those are shit too. Use lime juice or some shit if you really want to use something.
>>
>>37152432
trying to do a comb-over is just as bad.

If you're balding who gives a shit just let it hang out all balding. Treat whatever hair you have left with some respect. Trying to hide it with a comb-over or a toupee or by shaving it all off is all the same.

what did you mean by this

You have less hair to maintain than you normally would
>>

Shaving your head has a nice clean uniform look even if it isn't as good as a full head of hear. Growing out thinning patchy hair just looks messy.
>>
>>37152465
No, it is acknowledging that they are going bald and that there are very few styles of hair cuts if any that would actually look good.
>>
>>37152561

Why not get non surgical hair replacement. Its basically a very high quality toupee. You can wash and even have someone run your fingers through it.

2mg finasteride, 5% minox, and nizoral

gonna try Dermarolling soon and angel PRP later on before the HT

zero sides on fin and minox but still wary as fuck for dut, but I will exhaust 95% of options
>>
I'm 18, have thinning everywhere. Just ordered 100mg Spironolactone, 0.5mg Dutasteride, Minoxidil liquid and Ketoconazole shampoo.

Hopefully this works, my life is over if it doesn't.
>>
>>37153726
Live a bitch nigger, die a bitch nigger.
>>
>>37153245
My dermatologist refused to write me a finasteride prescription after finding out I had a family history of prostate cancer.
Let that be a lesson: If your hair is more important than your dick, lie and say none of your blood relatives has ever had it.
>>
>>37151563
Does anyone here think balding has more to do with weather/climate, being smart and depressed, and personality? Like I think it's not even genetics it's all of that.

Foreigners never go bald because they're always happy for sole reason and live in the warm
>>
>>37151563
I calculate I got another 5 years before my hair starts cucking me
gotta find a qt fast
>>
>>37151563
Not balding, but basically had the "male baldness pattern" since birth. Both my dad and uncle have it, so I can't even try to use hair growth products. Fuck this gay life I want out
>>
>>37153857
This doesn't make any sense anon. There are bald people everywhere in this planet.

Should I be worried? Pic related, I'm not losing hair but my hairline is too high for being 18
>>
>>37153902
definitely thinning, if you're 18 now you're probably gonna be noticeable bald at 25-26.
>>
>>37153919
I don't really have much of a familial history of balding, my dad is NW2.5 at 50 and my paternal grandfather NW3 at 90, not much different on my mom's side of the family
>>
What do you guys think about hair transplant? (surgical)
>>
>>37151563
How do I know if I'm losing hair? I can't tell so I'm always paranoid
>>
>>37153943

That doesn't necessarily mean anything. My maternal grandfather is the only person in my family who had any hair loss, and he was a NW3/4 with no crown thinning from his 30s to his 40s. I'm 25 and I'm an NW3V/early 4V with some diffuse thinning.

On the plus side, you look decent even with a shaved head, so it won't be the end of the world for you.
>>
>>37153837

fin reduces chance of low grade prostate cancer and increases chance of high grade prostate cancer (aka terminal that will fuck your shit up)

but the percentages are minuscule, he only didn't prescribe it to you because he didn't want to be sued, probably (e.g. you might have a 0.7% chance of getting high grade rather than 0.5% before)

just get generic fin 1mg or 5mg propecia online, you don't need a prescription
>>
>>37154063
For me, it was my mother who first noticed.
Your parents know you better than anyone else, and they saw my hait was receding. Immediately went to dermatologist and got prescribed minox 5%. It's better now,but still not perfect.

>>37152914
>>37152956
How expensive is this?
>>
My hair has been thinning and falling out since I was 18. Now, at 20, hairline has risen considerably and have the M shape. Every day I look in the mirror I think I should just shave it.

>cucked by genetics, both grandparents bald or considerably lost hair, parents and little brother have good hair.
>>
>>37152400
It's obviously not to trick people into thinking you're not balding, dipshit.
Bald looks better than balding in every case.
>>
>>37154201
What makes you say it's thinning? Prior to shaving it last weekend, I sometimes had hairdressers make comments about how full and thick my hair was while I was getting it cut. Also, I need to keep my hair because being boyish looking requires a youthful hairline
>>
>>37154364

I'm actually not that guy. Just pointing something out.

>>
>>37153245
how does nizoral help?
>>
>>37154778

Nizoral reduces inflammation and acts as a very mild anti-androgen. Its debatable how much it does on its own, but when used with fin or minox it boosts what those treatments can do considerably.
>>
>>37153245
What's the point of having a full head of hair if your penis isn't working anymore because of the hormone medicine?
>>
>>37154835
>considerably.

is it really considerable when combined with fin and minox?

there's some people putting that stuff on 3 times a week even

>asked my mother about my hair
>tells me it's still the same

I can't tell if she's just trying to comfort me or if it's just these threads making me paranoid as fuck
>>
>>37155770
You're probably just paranoid about these threads.
I didn't even ask my mother whether or not my hair was receding, I was completely unaware at the time.
My mom brought it to my attention because she could visibly see my 'hair problem' was gettting worse.

Don't worry man, your hair is fine. There only a one a small percentage of men who start balding at 18 y/o.
>>
>>37155936
She's one of those people who would probably rather not tell me to make me feel better, so she'd never bring that up by herself. On the other hand my father is still completely fine in his 50s, and we have really similiar hair, so I guess that's something.

It's just scary seeing these threads and even some guys at uni going bald this young desu. My hair is one of the few things I don't completely hate about myself, so the thought of losing it is terrifying.
