I grew up on CDs... okay well cassette tapes at first but mostly CDs until mp3s really became the standard in this last decade. Shit even now it looks like mp3s might be taking a backseat to streaming services.

Still, I used to buy CDs all the time too back in the day and it was such an exciting thing to unwrap the plastic, get that fresh CD smell and then to check out all the art and lyrics and linear notes.

Once I have the money for it I'll be doing that again, but obviously online because there are no more music store around where I live and even if there was I wouldn't want to buy the mostly normie shit they were selling to begin with.

It is. It's made by designer Mr. Shekelmoto, so it ramps up the price tag. The logo is 3m so it's a bit more artsy or whatever. But it's lightweight, unique, has a mesh brim, and a velcro strap that's different from what I've seen before (it seems more durable and doesn't look unappealing somehow, usually I'm not a velcro strap fan). I'm not suggesting anyone gets the hat, but it's cool for what it is, I guess.
