I started as a truck unloader and at first it was pretty nice. Got Dental and Health stuff. 12.75 an hour and we got two 15's and a hour break. Plus the 2 week paid vacation. The people is mostly foreign students, old lady's and occasional weirdo. And at that level it was pretty nice. Then after a year I got supervisor and then they started fucking me over. If you work at Walmart and suck or at least are by yourself it's great. But when you get to the point where you start to care it goes downhill. Just recently for truck unloading they hired a 400 pound dude, a old lady and a couple of Indian dudes who don't know English too well. So if the dumb decisions of management don't bother you it's pretty good. If you can deal with people be a electronics guy and if you want there is a job called store standards and all they do is push carts in. I've liked it way more then any fast food horseshit.
TLDR it's good and they give good benefits, watch out for shit though and watch for stress.

Because this economic climate is nothing short of bullshit. I was talking to my grandmother about what she thinks of how the world has changed, and she told me that she got her house for free from the government in the 70's (now worth over 100k), and when she was in her teens she'd be able to walk into a store, literally just say "can I work here?" and be hired on the spot.

It's funny cause, when I look at China's or former Soviet government. I don't see Socialism. I see the worst form of Capitalism: The monopoly. As if a board of directors run a country.
