Actually I'm already more successful than most people I went to high school with, I grew up in a tiny country town in the absolute middle of nowhere there's no jobs and most people never leave, sure a lot of them are married now, but most of them also work minimum wage, have drug or alcohol problems and live in run down houses that they'll never get out of because it's a dead end town. Meanwhile I already make decent pay working through uni and I'll be graduating in another year and have a potential job lined up, where I plan on working and scraping my money together until I can open my own business. I'd still like a family someday, but getting a proper career and not withering away in poverty like I've seen so many others do is more important to me right now

I'm 21 and all the kids who were around my age have all gone on missions. several have gotten back already. a couple are already married.
it feels bad man.

there is a recent wave of books being written that are, essentially, about how to raise your kid to avoid him ending up like us.
Our kind didn't really exist in this number a century ago. that's why some people are incorporating some once-abandoned traditional elements back into their lives. and Gen Z is actually more conservative than our generation. everyone is seeing the consequences of extreme progressiveness and taking a step back, even if just a small one.
so I expect our kind to not be AS prevalent in the future. so it's not as likely for these normies to be cursed with one of us, though not impossible either.

I went dark and dropped all contact with people I used to know. I don't have a facebook or anything like that. I don't want them looking me up and getting the satisfaction they are better off than me.
