You need to go to Midtown, lots of hipsters there and lots of bars. I'm not familiar with that scene though as I went from Auburn to Davis and skipped Sac.

Roseville and Rocklin are really boring but you're close to a lot of places. Go to the bay for a day or weekend (A's games are vastly superior to Giants games) go to the foothills or down to Yosemite. Go farther north to Lake Whiskeytown/Mt. Shasta or Humbolt. Go east to Tahoe. Be prepared to do a lot of traveling especially in the Summer because it can reach 105-110 easily, going to the bay or Tahoe is required at these times so save money. If you like going outdoors you can go snowboarding, skiing, swimming, surfing,hiking, kayaking, biking, pretty much everything. Also, the faggy liberals and yuppies (in Roseville/Placer County there are lots of conservative soccer family pricks) are a minority and they are rarely found outside of their small ecosystems.

How long ago? The smog's a lot better than it used to be, when I was a kid in the '90s we had "smog days" at school where we had to eat lunch inside and P.E. was cancelled. Now I can't remember the last time I couldn't clearly see Downtown from my neighborhood in the Hollywood Hills.

LA would be a great place if it weren't for the people. Nice weather, great geography, tons of shopping and food options, plenty of local attractions, but the people here are fucking intolerable, they're all either degenerate druggies, stuck up rich fucks, tumblr-tier SJW libtards, or celeb wannabes with inflated egos. (People from elsewhere will mention the minorities but honestly the dindus stick to their neighborhoods and the ones you're likely to interact with are just normal poor people trying to make a living.)

If you grow up in LA, at least if you're middle class or higher, you'll end up knowing so many Jews that it's impossible to blanket hate them. The average Jew around here is a normal person with a regular job (though in LA a "regular job" means something like being a Set Decorator or an editor or whatever) and no more connection to the Soroses of the world than the average White person.

That's not true though. I live in a $2M house in the Hollywood Hills, and there are hardly any Jews in my neighborhood. It's mostly Anglos, Asians, and middle-easterners here. My family is movie industry and that's a lot less Jewish than people think too. If there's anybody I'd hate out of jealousy or whatever, it'd be Persians or Armenians, this place is infested with them and their money is all dirty as fuck. (Armenians are all mob and the Persians stole all their money on the way out when the revolution happened and now their shithead kids drive around in Ferraris despite never having worked a day in their lives.)

I know a lot of highly-placed people in the movie industry. My mom was a Senior VP at Universal, my aunt is a major producer, my uncle was a founding partner at what's now the world's largest talent agency, and my cousin is a producer at CBS national news in NYC.

You know who REALLY calls the shots in the industry? Accountants. There's no master plan, just focus groups and market research. It's all just about ratings and sales. When you see a degenerate thing presented on TV it's not brainwashing, it's them trying to shock you enough to make you tune in and watch the show.

That said, a lot of Hollywood does live in a weird liberal bubble. They live in their idyllic hillside neighborhoods with no clue about the reality of what's going on down below, and sometimes they make dumb shit like that antigun political thriller that flopped last year because they don't understand that people in the "real" world don't share their pie in the sky values. The sad thing is that they think they're helping, they think banning guns really will save lives, that violent minorities are just innocent victims, etc.

Even all of those focus groups don't help pull the wool off of their eyes, because guess where they do the screenings? Right here in LA, in nice liberal neighborhoods, with tickets given out by PAs who go stand in front of upscale malls.
