Somethings similar, I take comfort in rituals. Although I no longer consider myself as Christian, and haven't for a long time, I still say this prayer I was taught as a child before bed:

Now I lay me down to sleep,

And then a brief prayer about whatever. Even if no one is really listening, it's oddly comforting.

I've gone around with a raspberry pi zero hosting an offline webserver network that would redirect people to the webserver in hopes that someone would upload any file to it.

For no particular reason, last week, I rode my recumbent exercise bike while wearing raybans and a leather motorcycle jacket, and drying firing a handgun. I did this while playing 80s wave music, and pretending to chase ukrainian terrorists on the 10 and shouting instructions into my uncharged apple watch.
I did this for a good 10 minutes until I had my fill, stopped what I was doing, put away my props/firearm and got back on the bike to actually use it; did my workout while watching tucker carlson and went on with my general NEETery
I don't know exactly why I did it (except that I've lived in active autism daydreams my whole life) or why I wrote this story now except this thread seemed like a good place for it.

there's this thing i have with clothing tags. I rub them between my fingers scratching them with my fingernails. There are different kinds of tags from the more paperlike ones on lawn chairs to the silky smooth ones on columbia or Patagonia clothing. I've done it for as long as I can remember. I'm 21
