what are your hobbies/pastimes? pic related is mine
Can someone explain in what way making a collection is a hobby/pastime? Sure it must feel great having a bunch of statuettes but what is the actual hobby/pastime activity involved?

searching for new models, decorating, going to shop , I dunno that's all I can imagine

Dusting them off must be time consuming tho.
jacking off is a big hobby of mine. I'm into JAV right now

I spend a lot of time researching figures and old releases and stuff. Scouring sites for good deals and things. It sounds really lame and it kind of is but it brings me some level of happiness at least.
I really want to start getting into garage kits, which is buying resin cast kits and assembling and painting them yourself.
collecting things is a hobby. It involves a lot of research

I imagine that some collections are exactly as you've described but that there are also collections that are just one part of a larger hobby, that being the study of the collected items histories and the discussion of those things with other enthusiasts.

Some collectors of statues engage in sex acts like hot gluing, non pornographic owners just take pics in many angles and jack off in sites like youranimecollection.
I collect soda/esoteric drink bottles.
I study French and Italian.
I like casually hiking every so often.
I'm think of maybe learning to play the drums if possible some time in the future.
>buying plastic shit is hobby
unless you're painting them, your hobby is being a mindless consumer whore.

Every hobby has a consumer aspect unless you make weird wooden sculptures like a backwoods creep or something

I collect rocks, minerals, and gemstones. I catalogue where I obtained them, the date, etc.

Don't really have hobbies, when i get my own house i might start tinkering with small trains and make some autistic setup out of them, either that or some automation stuff around the house
Always wanted a automated greenhouse for myself
>tfw no hobbies or interests other than 4chan, vidya and animu
>want to pick up a hobby that's active, gets me out the house, but requires no social interaction
>would like to try surfing, but it sounds basically impossible to start without lessons
>want to join the gym but scared of people judging me
>want to do indoor rock climbing but (I think?) you need another person to go with you to hold the ropes and shit
Feels bad. Any other ideas? I've actually got my own car now so I could go and do whatever the fuck I want, I want to do shit, just on my own.

If you can post them, show us pictures.
Minerals and stones are a pretty patrician hobby
Drawing dicks and things that look like dicks.
Sometimes attaching them to girls.

Don't have a camera right now, but I could list a few of my prize specimens if you want.
I like to collect leaflets, pamphlets, flyers, etc, or just junk advertising and cut it up and make collages out of them.
Sometimes they have themes, other times they're just random collages of weird looking crap.
I used to collect rizla packets and filter boxed and spend hours cutting them up into tiny confetti (I stored the confetti in big fluffy winter hats) and ended up with about 28 hats full in the end.
I stopped smoking and after that I needed to cut things up again and now I use it as a way of making something pretty to put on my cabinet
Heretics gtfo my board
Vidya, reading, fanfics. And I do ballet and gymnastics but pretty irregularly because I'm a lazy cunt.
